The Old Frees Association Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (OFAKLS) remains firmly committed to advancing the best interests of Penang Free School. Guided by our founding values and aligned with the direction and aspirations of the Ministry of Education, Malaysia, the Association plays an active role in supporting the School’s educational mission. We seek to serve as a strong and responsible link between generations of Frees, contributing ideas, resources and support that strengthen institutional excellence, student development and long-term sustainability, while safeguarding the School’s proud heritage and standing within the national education landscape.
As we celebrate the 210th Anniversary of Penang Free School, this historic milestone calls upon Old Frees everywhere to unite in pride and purpose. More than a commemoration of longevity, it is a celebration of the values, leadership and character that have shaped generations. We invite alumni to reconnect, to give back, and to reaffirm their shared responsibility to the School that shaped us. Through collective participation and support, this anniversary becomes a platform to honour our past while investing meaningfully in the School’s present and future.
